Naya Rivera
“Glee” actress Naya Rivera chronicled getting plastic surgery done at the age of 18 in her memoir, “Sorry Not Sorry.” Rivera saved up and used the funds from her acting roles on “Family Matters,” and “The Royal Family,” to pay for $8,000 worth of breast augmentation. For Rivera, the investment for breast implants was a choice she has been happy and grateful for. “People have a lot of opinions about plastic surgery, but more than ten years after I got my boobs, they still make me happy when I look in the mirror. It might have even been the best $8K I’ve ever spent,” Rivera told People Magazine.
Kris Jenner
In an episode of “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” business guru and “momager” Kris Jenner shared her experience getting a facelift. She has also shared her past surgeries and is no stranger to talking about plastic surgery. Jenner is clearly rewinding the aging process with grace and elegance. “I have not worked on Kris but it’s evident that, through the years, she’s had a facelift. Without one there would be a more noticeable occurrence of the aging process,” Dr. Tim Sayed told Radar. There are also rumors that Jenner has probably had a neck lift, bilateral upper and lower blepharoplasty, Botox, and/or fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm, according to New York plastic surgeon Dr. Adam Schaffner.
Kaley Cuoco
It doesn’t hurt to look and feel good is Kaley Cuoco’s motto. In 2016, “The Big Bang Theory” actress talked to Women’s Health Magazine about the various plastic surgeries she’s gone through to feel confident and happy about her physical appearance. In addition to sticking to an intensive exercise routine, Cuoco also casually talked about getting a nose job, breast augmentation and injectable fillers around her neck.
“Years ago, I had my nose done. And my boobs—best thing I ever did. Recently I had a filler in a line in my neck I’ve had since I was 12. As much as you want to love your inner self…I’m sorry, you also want to look good. I don’t think you should do it for a man or anyone else, but if it makes you feel confident, that’s amazing,” Cuoco told Women’s Health.
The lesson we’ve learned from Cuoco is although beauty is skin deep, it’s okay to turn to fillers and plastic surgery to feel your absolute best.
Lisa Kudrow
“Friends” actress Lisa Kudrow is always full of laughs. She’s that friend (no pun intended) who will always be there to cheer you up when you don’t exactly feel good about the girl staring at you in the mirror. That’s why she’s a proponent of plastic surgery and is not ashamed about having undergone plastic surgery. Kudrow dealt with many insecurities in high school and wanted to alter her physical appearance to feel better about herself. She decided to make a life-changing decision at the age of 16 by getting a nose job before transferring to another high school. “That was life-altering. I went from, in my mind, hideous, to not hideous,” she said. “…[There were plenty of people who wouldn’t know how hideous I looked before. That was a good, good, good change,” Kudrow said.
Angelina Jolie
Though it isn’t immediately noticeable, actress Angelina Jolie has undergone plastic surgery to change the appearance of her face in a subtle way. There is evidence of possible rhinoplasty as her nose has been slightly altered. And then there are rumors of her voluminous lips getting some attention from injectables for the fullness. A few years ago, Jolie also shared with the New York Times that she had a double mastectomy done due to her being at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer. After the preventative surgery, Jolie later decided to get a “breast reconstruction with implants,” according to Health-inspiring women to not only take preventative measures to reduce the risk of breast cancer but to also consider a follow-up reconstruction to feel confident and beautiful post-surgery.
